Way to go Jim!!! I will put your site on my favorites and check back daily. I live exactly 400 miles away from my native Kalamazoo and love to see a bit of home. Keep up the good pix!

Just a little note about a one year old Red Leaf Maple start that was given to me early in May by Jim's wife Heather and is now in the yard of Noah Yu Ming Chu Hower, my great nephew, in Worthington, Ohio. They were both 1 year old on May 6th. May they grow to share the beauty of life and giving as it was started this year. Nature at its best

I used to work in this building. Each summer, I would come to the front door one morning to find a bright green chipper, inquisitive adolescent praying mantis. Each time, I would give her a leaf to hop on, and deposit her in one of the bushes in the garden next to the building.

They don't call it Arcadia for nothing.
